Today the Armenian Church marks and celebrates THE 27TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ENTHRONEMENT OF HIS HOLINESS KAREKIN II CATHOLICOS OF ALL ARMENIANS.

On November 4, 2026, the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church commemorates the 27th anniversary of the consecration and enthronement of His Holiness Karekin II, the 132nd Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.

On this sacred day in 1999, within the Mother Cathedral of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness ascended the Throne of St. Gregory the Illuminator, embracing the solemn calling to shepherd the faithful and safeguard the spiritual heritage of our ancient Church.

For 27 years, his patriarchal ministry has spanned moments of joy and sorrow, hope and hardship. Throughout, he has emphasized Christian faith, spiritual education, the preservation of Armenian sacred traditions, and the enduring mission of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin.

Our Church is more than a place of worship. It is our spiritual home, a guardian of Armenian Christian identity, and a bond uniting our people in the homeland and throughout the Diaspora.

Our hearts turn in reverence toward Holy Etchmiadzin, the spiritual center of the Armenian nation. Across the centuries, the Mother See has stood as a testament to faith, continuity, and hope.

As our people face ongoing challenges, the call to prayer, forgiveness, compassion, and unity remains especially meaningful. May our Holy Church bring comfort to those who suffer, strength to the faithful, and inspiration to future generations.

We extend heartfelt congratulations to His Holiness Karekin II and pray that the Almighty Lord will guide his steps, strengthen his spirit, and bless his ministry with peace and grace.

May the light of Christ always shine upon the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church. May the bells of Holy Etchmiadzin proclaim the enduring faith of our people, and may the sacred Throne of St. Gregory the Illuminator remain steadfast.

November 1, 2026 - Eighth Sunday after Exaltation

Ephesians 1:1-14

Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are in Ephesus and are faithful in Christ Jesus: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love. He destined us for adoption as his children through Jesus Christ, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of his glorious grace that he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved. In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and insight he has made known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure that he set forth in Christ, as a plan for the fullness of time, to gather up all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth. In Christ we have also obtained an inheritance, having been destined according to the purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to his counsel and will, so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ, might live for the praise of his glory. In him you also, when you had heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and had believed in him, were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit; this is the pledge of our inheritance toward redemption as God's own people, to the praise of his glory.

October 31, 2026 - Feast of All Saints, Old and New, Known and Unknown

On this feast day, the Armenian Church commemorates all those saints whose names have not been included in the Church’s liturgical calendar, yet whose holy names are inscribed in the sacred Book of the Kingdom of Heaven.

During the persecutions of Christians and the many wars fought for the faith, countless individuals were martyred. Sadly, their names have not been preserved or passed down to us. Therefore, the Church established this sacred feast specifically to honor and commemorate their memory.

These were individuals who shed their precious blood for the sake of Christ and for the building up of His mystical Body, the Church.

October 30, 2026 - Պահոց Օր | Fasting Day

Galatians 6:1-13 ~

My friends, if anyone is detected in a transgression, you who have received the Spirit should restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness. Take care that you yourselves are not tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ. For if those who are nothing think they are something, they deceive themselves. All must test their own work; then that work, rather than their neighbor's work, will become a cause for pride. For all must carry their own loads. Those who are taught the word must share in all good things with their teacher. Do not be deceived; God is not mocked, for you reap whatever you sow. If you sow to your own flesh, you will reap corruption from the flesh; but if you sow to the Spirit, you will reap eternal life from the Spirit. So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially for those of the family of faith. See what large letters I make when I am writing in my own hand! It is those who want to make a good showing in the flesh that try to compel you to be circumcised—only that they may not be persecuted for the cross of Christ. Even the circumcised do not themselves obey the law, but they want you to be circumcised so that they may boast about your flesh.
