The Bible gives us a clear path to follow as we seek to live our lives in a way that reflects our gratitude for the new life God has given us in Christ.

When Edward Gibbon wrote his classic work The History Of The Decline And Fall Of The Roman Empire in 1776, he showed the factors that led once mighty Rome to its current place in world history. As we conclude our study of the Book of Judges we’ll see clearly the depths of the decline of God’s people after they entered the Land of Promise. And we’ll see how well lit the path is that leads to destruction even in our day.
