What didn’t happen isn’t the whole story. Look at what God preserved.

This morning's 6:00 AM Prayer Call was a powerful move of God.

There were many saints gathered on the call, and together we wrestled with a challenging and convicting word from the Lord. Today’s Word was A House That Honors God," from Joshua 24, and the Word met us right where we are.

This was not one of those messages that simply made us shoutβ€”it was one that made us think. It challenged us to examine our homes, our priorities, our commitments, and our devotion to God. It caused us to wrestle with an important question: Who truly sits on the throne of our hearts and our households?

Joshua's declaration echoed through our time together:

"As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15)

The saints leaned into the Word. We wrestled with it. We reflected on it. We allowed it to search us. And by the grace of God, we left stronger than we came.

Sometimes the greatest blessing is not a word that comforts us but a word that confronts us. A word that calls us higher. A word that challenges us to align our lives with God's will. This morning was that kind of experience.

May we all continue to build homes where God is honored, His Word is obeyed, His presence is welcomed, and His name is glorified.

"Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain." β€” Psalm 127:1

With heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of Dr. John Fluker, a faithful member of our church family whose legacy of faith, service, wisdom, and kindness will forever remain in our hearts.

Dr. Fluker's unwavering commitment to God, his love for the church, and his servant's spirit touched countless lives. He exemplified what it means to walk faithfully with Christ and to serve others with grace and humility.

As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life well-lived and a legacy that will continue to inspire generations to come.

"The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." – Psalm 34:18

Please join us in praying for the Fluker family and all who loved him. May God's peace and comfort surround them during this difficult time.
