Greetings, Bible Explorers!
It's the week of Vacation Bible School here at St. Stephen, so we're going wild, exploring the nature of God at Rainforest Falls!

In our ongoing Tree of Life series, last Sunday we looked at the Passover, one of the most significant events in the Old Testament. After generations had passed, Abraham's family found themselves slaves in Egypt. But God is faithful and always keeps His promises. He sent Moses to confront hard-hearted Pharaoh. He sent plagues to judge the "gods" of Egypt. He gave His people the powerful message of the Passover: That we are saved by the blood of a lamb. Thousands of years later, another Lamb died. We are saved by the blood of Jesus, the Lamb of God.

This week, we'll spend a few days looking more at the Exodus, then by the end of the week God's people will be in the Promised Land! We'll see how God sent "judges" to lead them, and how God's people continued to turn away from God - but God remained faithful to His promise to save His people.
