It's Day 3 of our 7 Days of Change Makers series!

Each day, Empower Solano is honoring a local Community Champion who is out there making a difference while helping to spread the word about the importance of getting vaccinated against COVID-19.

Our Day 1 Honoree was Amy Fabi, a voice for youth.
Our Day 2 Community Champion was Doriss Panduro, Fairfield City Councilmember, who is a passionate advocate for the homeless.

Our Day 3 Change Maker has been a member of the Governing Board of the Fairfield-Suisun Unified School District since 2010, having served as President, President-Elect, and Clerk of the Board. This amazing gentleman is also the Senior Pastor at St. Stephens CME Church.

Empower Solano is proud to introduce today's Community Champion, Dr. David C. Isom!

In addition to his role on the Governing Board, Mr. Isom has served on the Fairfield, CA Police Department Citizens Review Board and the Fairfield Police Department’s Promotion Panel. Mr. Isom has also volunteered as a Domestic Violence Advocate at SafeQuest Solano, LIFT3 Support Group, the Family Violence Unit of the FPD and the Office on Family Violence Prevention for Solano County.

Dr. David C Isom HQ has mentored 'at-risk' students for over twenty-five years. He believes that every child should have the opportunity to be successful in life and that public education is the KEY to providing that opportunity.
