Last week we wrapped up our lesson on land animals with a visit from a petting zoo and we had an in class pet clinic.
We also learned about the letter C for cat, crocodile, classroom, and caterpillar. We’ve continued practicing counting to 30. And while we didn’t have official chapel with Mrs Betsy last week, we continued reading about Moses’ life.

This week we were WILD about jungle animals and sea life! We made lions, turtles & fish. We loved the farm animals who came to visit! We’d like to send out a big thank you to our parents that volunteered their extra hands to help out on Tuesday! Also thank you to Miss Brooklyn and Miss Lex for helping in our room this week!!

Today we painted fish with celery, to mimic the look of scales. Some of our friends were brave enough to try pieces of celery. We have very mixed feelings about it.

These smiles make my heart so full!!

Farm Animals!
We had so much fun this week talking about farm animals and getting to meet some sweet farm animals! We made some muddy pigs, a big red barn, chickens, wonky donkeys, and turkeys!
They also spoiled me on my birthday with some handmade birthday cards and some of my favorite treats! ☺️

We spent this week on the farm! We’ve got the farm animal sounds down! We made cows, muddy piggies and finished the week with a big mess! We played with farm animals in some ‘mud’ then gave them a nice bath! Once some of our friends discovered the mud was actually chocolate pudding, it was game over. The smiles and squeals of pure happiness were magical!

Also, sending the biggest thank you to one of our grandma’s for donating the smocks to our class!! They were perfect! Can’t wait to use them over and over!
