This week we continue with our series Imperfect Parents, Faithful God, as we look to one of the most painful stories in David’s family from 2 Samuel 13–18. We’ll see how David’s failure to confront sin created devastating consequences for his family and community. These chapters remind us that what we ignore does not stay hidden. Instead it grows, spreads, and harms others. Yet even in the middle of brokenness, rebellion, and grief, God’s Word points us to the need for a better King. Join us this Sunday as we learn why hard obedience matters and discover the hope found in Christ, the faithful King.

This Sunday in Imperfect Parents, Perfect God, we’ll continue by answering an important question: How do parents raise God-fearing children in a culture that does not know God? We’ll look at Samson’s parents in Judges 13 and learn how they responded when God gave them an impractical and overwhelming task. Were they perfect parents? No. But was their God faithful? Absolutely.
