Tonight the youth group had a fun time at our Christmas Party! We eat dinner, played games, did our white elephant gift exchange, and then stuffed stockings for the angel tree families. We hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas break!

Here is the holiday schedule we discussed last night at youth:
11/24: youth at the hut, normal time.
12/1: 4:30-6:30=Hanging of the Greens, youth will meet in the fellowship hall for devotion at 4:30 and to help with the dinner (5pm) the men’s club does before the service. Service starts at 6:30. We invite you to stay for the service, it last about 1 hour.
12/8: youth Christmas party in fellowship hall, 5:30-7pm. Due to the Christmas parade being this day and another group using the hut after us, we are gonna meet in the fellowship hall to have our party. We will do a white elephant gift exchange again. If you want to participate please bring a $15 gift to the party.
12/15: no youth. You’re invited to come to the children’s Christmas play at 6pm.
1/12: youth will resume as normal.

Thank you to everyone who came out to the Youths Chili Cook off! Michael Beatty won Most Unique with his Thai Curry Chili this year and Casey Hart (award accepted by Connor Hart on her behalf since she was sick) won People’s choice with her venison chili!

Don’t forget tomorrow is the chili cook off. Youth group will be this event! If you come to amplified just stay after church to help set up. If not please be there by 11:30 so we can make sure everything is ready to go when church gets out. We should be cleaned up and done by 1:30. I will do a quick devotion with everyone tomorrow as well. You will have to sign in with me that you are helping. Whatever we make will be divided between whoever comes to help, and credited to you and taken off how much you owe for Awanita. Let me know if you have any questions.

Our Awanita reservation!!!!!!!!!!!
June 23rd-27th, 2025.

I need to know ASAP if you will be attending so I can put your name on the list. Your first payment of $24 will be due in January.

For those that do not know what Awanita is, it is the summer camp we attend in the mountains of SC. It is 2 hours away. We leave Monday afternoon and return Friday morning. Summer camp is a spiritual retreat to grow in our faith with Christ, but we also have a blast while doing it. The church pays a big chunk of the cost and you are responsible for $144. We break it up into 6 monthly payments (if needed) of $24 and that start in January. If you have any questions please ask.
