Our beliefs can be surprisingly powerful, and surprisingly easy to overlook. In this exploration of Unity’s Third Principle—the Law of Mind Action—we’ll look beneath our everyday thoughts to uncover the beliefs that influence how we see ourselves, others, and the world around us.

Through the lens of Tarot, we’ll explore how hidden beliefs can become self-fulfilling prophecies, and how bringing them into awareness gives us more choice in what we create. Sometimes, changing our experience begins with noticing what we already believe.

𝗚𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗙𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝘁

The Good Faith Network (GFN) is making a difference in our community by advocating for programs that help older adults live safely and independently in their own homes. The organization’s work with the 𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 (𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 — 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀) program was recently featured in the Johnson County Post. CAPABLE helps older adults address challenges in their homes through occupational therapy, nursing support, and home modifications. The pilot program helped 14 Johnson County residents remain independent in their homes before its state funding ended earlier this year. Now, the Good Faith Network is working to find sustainable funding to bring the program back and expand its reach to more older adults in our community.

Rev. Eileen Stulak, who is part of GFN’s eldercare advocacy efforts, is featured in the article discussing the organization’s continued efforts and the importance of helping people age with dignity and independence. We’re proud to see this important work receiving local attention and to witness the impact of faith communities coming together to address the needs of our neighbors.

Rev. Jacquie invites us to take time this week to literally look in the mirror—not to judge or criticize, but to find our sacred selves and recognize the Divine presence within us. Take 3 minutes per day and just gaze at that miraculous expression of the Divine that is YOU!

Self-acceptance means forgiving ourselves for the ways we’ve judged our bodies. It may also mean releasing the words and judgments others placed on us long ago—and remembering that we don’t have to keep repeating them to ourselves.

You are a unique and unrepeatable expression of the Divine. ❤️
