God longs to be in relationship with us, wants us to lift up our needs to him in prayer, so that we might learn to trust him all the more. God’s provision can come to us in a myriad of ways—in Exodus 17 we see God provide for the Israelites by bringing forth water from a rock during their wilderness journey. As we reflected on the history the Civil Rights Movement in our nation on Sunday, it was a good reminder that sometimes we are called to be the source of provision for one another.
