Diving Deeper. May 19, 2026 Edition. In this brief video, I deal with the issue of judging. Are Christians supposrd to judge the world? I answer this question from the perspective of Jesus' own words in Matthew 7:1-5.

Today, we concluded our 12-week apologetics series at Believers Bible Church with one final question:

“Christians Aren’t Supposed to Judge!”

Over the past three months, we wrestled with some of the hardest questions people ask about Christianity:

Why does God allow suffering?

Is the Bible trustworthy?

Did Jesus really claim to be God?

Why would God send people to hell?

Why do bad things happen to good people?

Can faith and reason coexist?

Beneath every question was something deeper: A search for truth, a longing for hope, and a desire to know whether God is still real in a fractured world.

Today reminded us that Jesus never called His followers to self-righteous condemnation. He called us to humility, discernment, truth, grace, repentance, and love.

Thank you to every person who attended, invited someone, asked honest questions, and engaged deeply throughout this series.

If there is one thing we hope people leave with, it is this:

Christianity does not fear honest questions, because truth does not fear examination.

The series may be ending, but the conversation is not.

Can truth and love still exist together?

We believe they can.

Tomorrow, Pastor Beaver will share a message many people need…
but few churches are willing to have honestly.

“Christians Aren’t Supposed to Judge!”

Some have walked away from church because of judgment. Others have walked away from truth in the name of acceptance.

Jesus offered something different:
Grace without compromise, and truth without cruelty.

This Sunday at Believers Bible Church, we’ll unpack one of the most misunderstood teachings in Christianity.

If you have ever been:
• hurt by religion,
• confused about truth,
• frustrated by hypocrisy,
• or spiritually searching,

this message is for you.

Had 11 at the B&B today, including 4 visitors from the community. Great burgers & fixins' served up by Gene. Thomas Kasperek served up a great and eye-opening message about Covid-19 among other things related to what is happening today. Great fellowship together. Next month Randy Dunton, former head basketball coach for Liberty University, will be the featured speaker.

Three men at tribe today. Foxtrot started the fire, Eager led the workout, & Eager led the devo. In Matt 12 & 16, Jesus shares two parables that challenge His disciples to live for eternity instead of just for this life. We're to live for the line of eternity instead of the dot of this short life span. Are you living for the dot or the line? You think about that!

The world says: “If you disagree with me, you hate me.”

Jesus said: “Speak the truth in love.”

There is a difference.

This Sunday at BBC, we are diving into one of the most emotionally charged topics in modern culture:

“Christians Aren’t Supposed to Judge!”

It is not a message about superiority, or a message about condemnation; but a message about humility, truth, grace, and the heart of Christ.

Because there is a difference between helping someone toward healing… and standing over them in pride.

Join us this Sunday at Believers Bible Church.

You may leave challenged. You may leave encouraged, but you will leave thinking.

Invite someone who has been hurt by religion, confused by culture, or searching for truth.

“Judge not.”

Few phrases have been quoted more, and few phrases have been misunderstood more.

What did Jesus actually mean when He said it?

Did He call us to abandon truth?
Ignore evil? Never confront sin?

Or was He warning against something far deeper, hypocrisy, pride, and self-righteousness?

This Sunday at Believers Bible Church, we are tackling one of the biggest questions facing Christians today:

“Christians Aren’t Supposed to Judge!”

A conversation about truth, grace, discernment, humility, and what Jesus really taught.

If you have ever wrestled with faith, hypocrisy, or the tension between love and truth, this message is for you.

Three men this morning at tribe. Foxtrot started the fire and Eager led the workout and the Devo. Great seeing Mufasa! Eager briefly answered the question, "Why do bad things happen to good people?" Invitations went out to the May Burgers & Bibles as well as an invitation to a tribe cookout on June 27 at 6 pm at Eager's house. Families invited!
Great time together. We closed with prayer & the MA Creed.

If God is good…
why does the world hurt so much?

It is one of the deepest questions a person can ask, and this Sunday, we are going there.

No polished answers, no pretending life is easy, and no fake smiles.

Just honest truth, real Scripture, and the hope that even in suffering, God has not abandoned humanity.

You may know someone carrying silent pain right now; invite them.

Sometimes an invitation can become the turning point in someone’s story.
