Ep. 968 - Source of Strength

MINISTRY MOMENT
When we stop depending on our own strength and start trusting God's perfect ways, we discover that He is more than enough for every battle we face.

PRAYER POINT
“Father, thank You for being my rock, fortress, and strength. Forgive me for the times I have relied on my own understanding instead of trusting You. Help me remain faithful, humble, and obedient in every circumstance. Teach me to trust Your perfect ways even when I cannot see the outcome. Remind me that You are my shield, my protector, and my source of strength. Today I choose to place my confidence in You. In Jesus' name, Amen.”

GOING DEEPER
Read and reflect on Psalm 18:1-31, Proverbs 3:5-6, Isaiah 40:29-31, James 4:6-10, and Philippians 4:13. What situation in your life are you most tempted to handle in your own strength? How has God proven Himself faithful to you in the past? What does it look like to trust God's way even when you don't understand His timing? Are there areas where pride is keeping you from fully depending on the Lord?

WALK IT OUT
Identify one challenge, decision, or burden you are carrying today. Instead of trying to solve it entirely on your own, spend time in prayer and intentionally surrender it to God. Write down one practical step of obedience you can take and then trust Him with the results.

SHARE WITH OTHERS
Think of a time when God carried you through a difficult season or answered a prayer in a way you did not expect. Share that testimony with a friend, family member, small group, or coworker this week to encourage them to trust God's faithfulness.

WALK IT OUT
Go to the Lord in areas where you are weary and take hold of the rest He provides.

Encourage others who are weary to go to the Lord and take hold of the rest He provides.

Ep. 966 - A Loud Whistle

MINISTRY MOMENT
Are you discouraged? Are you burned out? Frustrated? Tired of waiting?

PRAYER POINT
“God, help me to set my face like a stone - determined to do Your will. Help me to be resolute. Help me to be determined. Help me to not give up. Help me to stay the course. Help me to be faithful in all that You have called me to do.”

GOING DEEPER
Read John 16:33, Galatians 6:9, and Isaiah 50:7.

WALK IT OUT
Spend time alone with the Lord and ask yourself - what’s the last thing you KNOW that He asked you to do? Ask yourself if you’re still doing it, and if not - why not?

SHARE WITH OTHERS
Consult your closest friends who are fellow Believers and ask them how they have navigated seasons of waiting, disappointment, delay, and frustration. Ask them what God taught them in the waiting.

Ep. 965 - Mindset for the Middle

MINISTRY MOMENT
If you are in the middle of something hard, difficult, or draining—the encouragement for you today is to change your mindset from straining like the disciples were in the middle of a lake in Mark 6, to stepping like Peter did in Matthew 14. God doesn’t intend for you to be stuck in the middle of something to feel drained, but He is inviting you to start stepping towards Him while in the middle!

PRAYER POINT
“Jesus, thank You for the times that I have been in the middle of something feeling stuck and straining, because You see me in my straining. The majesty of the middle is that before I start taking a step towards You—You start stepping towards me and are with me in the middle. May I be reminded today that I am going to make it through because of Your mercy in the middle. I am standing strong on You! In Jesus’ name, Amen!”

GOING DEEPER
Read and study Mark 6:45-52 and Matthew 14:25-31.

WALK IT OUT
To really start changing our mindset in the middle from “straining” to “stepping,” put into practice the cycle of SEEKING out God. Once you seek out God for whatever situation, season, or struggle you may be in—anticipate God to SPEAK. Once God speaks and gives you a word or a command, it is now our turn to STEP. If you are struggling in the middle—SEEK God, listen for God to SPEAK, and then take a STEP.

SHARE WITH OTHERS
If you know someone in your life who is in the middle of something difficult or draining, encourage them to be in the place where God will meet them—it happens in the middle!

The moment you stop hiding is often the moment God begins a deeper healing.

PRAYER POINT
“Father, thank You for loving me fully and seeing me completely. Forgive me for the ways I hide behind fear, pride, or the appearance of strength. Help me remove the armor that keeps others at a distance. Give me wisdom to be authentic, courage to be vulnerable, and grace to lead my family and relationships with honesty. Let my life reflect real faith (not perfection), and dependency on You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

GOING DEEPER
Read Ezekiel 39:29, James 5:16, Psalm 27:8, and 2 Corinthians 3:18. What “armor” or mask do I tend to wear around others? Who in my life truly sees the real me?

WALK IT OUT
Have one honest conversation this week. Share something real with your spouse, child, trusted friend, or mentor. Share something beyond surface-level answers. Let someone see your “true face.”
