Warrior Wednesday

Strength is not always pushing harder.
Sometimes strength is kneeling lower.

A godly warrior does not have to prove himself by controlling everything around him. He learns to trust the One who already holds the battle.

Surrender is not quitting.
Surrender is choosing God’s way over your own.

Before you react today, pray.
Before you carry it alone, release it.
Before you fight in your own strength, remember who fights for you.

“The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.” — Exodus 14:14

What is one thing you need to surrender to God today?

Life’s trials don’t break us—they shape us. Just as steel is refined by fire, our faith is strengthened through every season.

Our faith-inspired apparel is more than clothing; it’s a reminder of God’s faithfulness and a way to share your testimony wherever you go.

Where do you find your significance?

For many men, the answer is found in achievement, approval, position, or power. We spend years trying to prove that we matter, only to discover that the world never truly satisfies that need.

In 1 Corinthians 1:26–31, Paul reminds us that God often chooses what the world overlooks. Our significance isn't found in what we accomplish, but in who we belong to.

At the foot of the cross, striving ends. Pride dies. Our identity as sons of God is secured through Jesus Christ.

I was dead in sin, but now I am alive in Christ. That is my boast.

Faith Check Friday

Before the week ends, ask yourself:

✅ Did I spend time with God this week?
✅ Did my actions match my beliefs?
✅ Did I encourage someone?
✅ Did I trust God or my own strength?
✅ Am I closer to Christ today than I was on Monday?

Faith isn't measured by perfection.

It's measured by direction.

Keep moving toward Jesus.

"Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith."
— 2 Corinthians 13:5

Warrior Wednesday

A warrior isn't defined by strength alone.

He is defined by what he surrenders to.

He chooses faith over fear.
Truth over comfort.
Discipline over excuses.
Christ over self.

Today, stand firm.

"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong."
— 1 Corinthians 16:13

The foolishness of the cross is wiser than the wisdom of the world.

What looks like weakness to man is where God displayed His power.
What looks like defeat is where Christ won the victory.
What looks broken is where grace begins to shine through.

We do not save ourselves through knowledge, strength, control, or understanding.
We are saved through Christ crucified.

May God tear down the walls we have built, heal the wounds we have hidden, and teach us to trust His wisdom over our own.

“For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”
1 Corinthians 1:25

16 years feels like yesterday. What a gift.

Over the past week, I was able to celebrate 16 years of marriage and take my family to Disney. Sure, I enjoyed the rides, watched the shows, and walked about seven miles a day. Every moment was worth it. The sore feet, the tired legs, and especially the joy on our children's faces.

Better than any ride was watching memories being created. Getting to celebrate the friendship that Angi and I share, along with our roles as husband and wife, reminded me just how blessed I am. I can't help but thank God for the journey that brought us here.

Marriage is not always easy, but it has always been worth it. Through every high and low, God has been faithful, and you have been by my side. The older I get, the more I realize that some of life's greatest blessings are not found in the big moments. They are found in the everyday moments shared with the people you love most.

Thank you for 16 incredible years. I love you, and I am grateful for the life we've built together.

Happy Anniversary, my love. ❤️

Faith Check Friday

You are fully known by God.

Not the polished version.
Not the cleaned-up version.
Not the version everyone else sees.

The real you.

The thoughts you hide.
The fears you carry.
The wounds you protect.
The questions you do not say out loud.
The places in your heart you try to keep locked away.

And still, you are fully loved by Him.

Nothing you do can make Him love you more.
Nothing you do can make Him love you less.

That kind of love changes how we live.
It gives us permission to stop hiding and start healing.

Question:
What part of your heart do you need to let God search, heal, and lead today?

Take it to Him.
Rest in His love.

“Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts!”
Psalm 139:23

Who are you?

Not who the world says you are.
Not what your past says you are.
Not what your failure says you are.
Not what your fear says you are.

Your identity is found in Christ.

You are chosen.
You are equipped.
You are empowered.
You are His.

Do not forget who you are in the middle of what you are facing.

Question:
What part of your identity in Christ do you need to be reminded of today?

Write it down.
Pray it.
Live it out.

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession…”
1 Peter 2:9
