WHY DO WE HOST THE Fall Market?
We’ve shared a lot of our amazing vendors with you, and still have more to share! but today we want to pause and share something a little different too…
Why do we do this? Why do we host the Fall Market?
Why do we host Embrace Grace?
Because the women who walk through our doors are often facing an unplanned pregnancy, and we want them to know something they may not be hearing from anyone else:
Congratulations, Mama. Your baby is worth celebrating. 🤍
Remember the first time you saw those two lines on a pregnancy test?
If you were married, prepared, and excited about that positive test, then YAY! But even in the excitement, there was probably a little bit of fear. A million thoughts about what was coming next.
Now imagine being young, sometimes REALLY young and seeing those same two lines when you weren’t planning for a baby.
Maybe you’re scared. Maybe you feel completely alone. Maybe you have little to no support. And instead of hearing “Congratulations,” you’re hearing fear, uncertainty, or even wondering how you’re going to do this, questions like “have you considered all the options?”
That’s where we come in.
Every baby deserves to be celebrated. Every baby is a LIFE created by God, regardless of the circumstances surrounding their conception. God is forming that baby in the womb, and we believe He has a plan and purpose for that baby and for their mama. 🤍
But why do we need a fundraiser to make Embrace Grace happen?
Because every week, we feed our girls during Bible study. For some of them, that meal may be one of the only good, nutritious meals they have that week we have had that occurrence happen a lot. Your support helps us provide those meals and allows us to help meet other needs when necessary, so mama and baby can be cared for.
And then there’s the baby shower.
Do you remember how overwhelming it was when you first started looking at the cost of everything a baby needs? A crib. Car seat. Diapers. Wipes. Clothes. Bottles. Blankets. And the list goes on and on.
Now imagine having to figure all of that out when you weren’t planning for this baby and you’re doing it alone.
100% of the funds raised through our Fall Market go toward helping us love and support these moms and babies.
We get to throw them a baby shower. We get to shower them with gifts. We get to celebrate their baby. We get to show them that they are loved, that they matter, and that they are not alone, and most importantly we get to introduce them to JESUS.
And often what happens after that.
They find a church family.
They find people who love them.
They find a place they can call home.
And then we get to watch these babies grow up in our church. We see them sitting in our chairs. We see them in Sunday School with our children. We watch them grow.
A child who may have been unplanned by everyone around them suddenly becomes a reminder that their baby was Gods plan.
A baby becomes a way for God to reach their mama.
A mama finds a church family.
And a new generation begins growing up knowing and loving Jesus.
That’s why we do Embrace Grace.
And that’s why we do the Fall Market.

You’re helping us celebrate LIFE. You’re helping us feed a mama. You’re helping us provide for a baby. And you’re helping us show a woman facing an unexpected pregnancy that she is not alone, and that Jesus loves her and her baby so so much! And he has amazing things in store for the both of them!
