Words Of Wisdom Wedsenday 💜

“When your complaining is at an all-time high, it’s often because your praise is at an all-time low.”

It’s hard to complain and praise God at the same time. Complaining magnifies the problem, but praise magnifies the Provider. The enemy wants us focused on what’s missing, what’s broken, and what’s not going our way. Praise shifts our attention back to who God is; faithful, sovereign, and still in control.

Paul and Silas didn’t complain in the prison; they praised. And when praise went up, chains came off. Sometimes the breakthrough you’re praying for isn’t found in more worrying; it’s found in more worship.

Today, before you voice another complaint, pause and thank God for something. Praise won’t always change your situation immediately, but it will change your perspective instantly.

“I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” — 💜Psalm 34:1

💜 Harden not your heart. 💜 — Hebrews 3:15

Life has a way of trying to harden people. Pain hardens. Betrayal hardens. Delays harden. Disappointment hardens.

But as believers, we must guard our hearts from becoming spiritually numb. The enemy would love for you to become so frustrated that you stop praying, stop trusting, stop loving, and stop hearing the voice of GOD.

A hardened heart can sit in church but never surrender. Can hear truth but refuse correction. Can experience grace and still choose bitterness.

Today, ask GOD to keep your heart soft, humble, and sensitive to His Spirit. Don’t allow what happened to you to change who GOD called you to be.

The same rain that softens the ground can also expose what’s buried underneath. Let GOD work on your heart today.

Help Me Pray today : ⬇️

Lord, remove every spirit of bitterness, pride, and stubbornness from me. Keep my heart tender before You. Help me hear Your voice clearly and obey Your will. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

As the lightning lights the sky and the thunder roars… as the forecast predicts heavy storms and rain… I’m reminded of a couple things.

I’m reminded that even in the rain, GOD still reigns. He’s our shelter in the storm, our refuge, our covering, our umbrella when life starts pouring down around us.

I’m also reminded of one of my all-time favorite stories.

A father and his daughter were on a road trip. The father became tired, so he let his daughter drive while he rested. As she drove, they ran into a terrible storm. Rain started pouring so hard she could barely see through the windshield. Nervous and afraid, she woke her father up and asked,“Dad, it’s storming so bad I can’t see. Do you want me to pull over?”

He calmly replied,“No baby… keep driving.”

She kept going.

The storm got worse. The rain fell even heavier, the thunder rolled louder, and cars all around them started pulling over on the side of the road. Again she woke him up and asked,“Dad, it’s getting worse. Should I pull over now?”

Again he answered,“No baby… keep driving.”

Confused, she said,“Dad, everybody else is stopping. Why do you want me to keep going?”

He simply replied,“Keep driving, princess.”

So out of obedience, she kept moving forward through the storm.

After a while, the rain started slowing down. The thunder became distant. The clouds began to break, and the sun slowly started shining again. Finally relieved, she smiled and said,“Dad, NOW you want me to pull over?”

This time he said,“Yes baby, pull over.”

Confused, she obeyed. Then her father told her,“Now get out and look behind you. Tell me what you see.”

She looked back and saw countless cars still pulled over on the side of the road… stuck in the same storm she had already driven through.

Moral of the story:Don’t stop in your storm.

Storms in life will come, but storms also pass. Sometimes God isn’t telling you to stop… He’s telling you to keep driving. Keep praying. Keep pushing. Keep trusting. Keep moving by faith even when visibility is low.

Everybody else may pull over. Everybody else may quit. But if God told you to keep going, KEEP GOING.

Because eventually the rain will let up, the clouds will break, and the sun will shine again.

And one day you’ll look back and realize the very storm that tried to stop you… was the same storm God brought you through.

“Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart.” — Psalm 27:14 💜
