A First-Day-of-School Prayer

As our children return to school today, The New Shiloh Baptist Church family is covering every student, teacher, administrator, bus driver, and staff member in prayer.

Lord, protect our children as they travel to and from school. Give them peace, confidence, wisdom, focus, and the courage to make good choices. Place loving teachers, positive friends, and trustworthy adults around them. Let every classroom be a safe place where they can learn, grow, and become everything You created them to be.

We pray for patience and strength for every educator, peace for every parent, and protection over every school throughout our parish and across this state.

May this school year be filled with safety, success, favor, and purpose. In Jesus’ name, Amen! 📚✏️
