If we are not careful, all our best efforts at leaving a legacy will read like nothing more than the boasts of Ozymandias, the ill-gotten wealth of Zacchaeus, and the religious elitism of the Sadducees. The Fall Art Retreat is coming up on Friday, October 3 (5–9 PM) and Saturday, October 4 (10 AM–4 PM) in the Parish Hall. This year we’ll explore the writings of Richard Rolle, often called the “English Francis,” and create stained glass paintings inspired by his work. Retreat cost is $50 and includes art supplies and meals. Sign up in the Narthex for a weekend of creativity, history, and fellowship.
