White Stone Church

White Stone Church We want to be a church that leads people to love Jesus and each other more everyday. Sundays 10:45AMšŸ“1819 Dry Gap Pike But we're not. It's about Jesus. Everything.

This is that section of the website where we're suppose to tell you all about our church & why you should come to White Stone. Instead, we're just going to tell you that it's really not about our church, or any church for that matter. We live in a world that glorifies everything: places, people, music, etc. But really, all glory belongs to Him. Because of Jesus, we have everything. So, at White St

one, we try our best to just make everything about Jesus. Our church is an Elder/Pastoral Team led church. There's no "one person" show here. We are many strands working together.

Communion and community are not two separate things — they are inseparable. The blood of Christ did not just save you out of something. It saved you into something: the family of God, the body of Christ.

Hebrews 10:19-25 gives us three ongoing invitations — draw near, hold fast, and consider how to stir one another up to love and good works. These are not one-time decisions. They are daily rhythms that keep the body of Christ alive and moving together.

You have a seat at the table. Jesus made sure of that. The question is whether you will pull up the chair.

If you have been on the edge of stepping into community, today is a great day to take that step.

What makes a community?
We want community at White Stone to be centered around Jesus, repentance without excuse, hard truths spoken tenderly, and eyes that truly see.

In his message, Brock referenced a recent research study on the overwhelming statics of people who feel like the online world ā€œknowsā€ them better than the people in their lives. The researcher notes that ā€œwhen someone doesn’t feel seen by anyone, they will eventually turn to something.ā€

But we were made for real community, with real people, from all walks of life, and that starts with Christ at the center, giving Him both the best seat and the last word.

Paul reminds us in 1 Corinthians 3 that Jesus must be the foundation of everything we build together. And 1 John 3:17 calls us to turn our eyes outward—to see, love, and serve the people around us, not just ourselves.

If you’ve been looking for community, new groups are starting soon at White Stone!
Maybe now is the time to say yes.
Say yes to being known.
Say yes to showing up.
Say yes to building something together.

Let’s build a community worth being a part of.

Do you ever feel like you do not quite belong? Peter wrote to scattered, marginalized believers and reminded them of something that changed everything: they were chosen. Set apart.
That identity was not earned. It was given by a God who chose them simply because He loved them.

The same is true for us. In a culture that pulls us toward individualism and self-reliance, God calls us into something deeper: a community where we belong to Him and to one another. We are not spectators. We are set apart, called to proclaim His excellencies through the way we live and love together.

Jesus has already set the table.
His invitation is all that matters.
There’s always a seat for you.

What if the world kept spinning even when you stopped? This Sunday, we explored the ancient practice of Sabbath; not just a day off, but a weekly declaration that God is the source, not us.

Rooted in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5, Sabbath is God’s gift to remind us that He sanctifies us, we don’t sanctify ourselves. It guards us from becoming consumed by consumerism, and it frees us to see other people as image-bearers rather than obstacles.

As God says in Exodus 31:13, He keeps the Sabbath as a sign between Himself and His people — so that we know it is the Lord who makes us holy.
Not our striving. Not our effort. Him.

You are not the engine that makes this thing go. Come rest in the God who still is.

Jesus had one question each day: ā€œFather, what do you have for me to do today?ā€
Not balance.
Not ten masters.
One Father.
Matthew 6:33 says, ā€œSeek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.ā€

What if rest isn’t found in perfect balance, but in a singular devotion? What if freedom comes from listening to one voice instead of ten? Come to Him, all who are weary and heavy laden, and He will give you rest.
