White Stone Church

White Stone Church We want to be a church that leads people to love Jesus and each other more everyday. Sundays 10:45AM📍1819 Dry Gap Pike But we're not. It's about Jesus. Everything.

This is that section of the website where we're suppose to tell you all about our church & why you should come to White Stone. Instead, we're just going to tell you that it's really not about our church, or any church for that matter. We live in a world that glorifies everything: places, people, music, etc. But really, all glory belongs to Him. Because of Jesus, we have everything. So, at White St

one, we try our best to just make everything about Jesus. Our church is an Elder/Pastoral Team led church. There's no "one person" show here. We are many strands working together.

“Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say: rejoice!” - Philippians 4:4

What does it mean to truly rejoice when life is hard? The Apostle Paul wrote these words from prison, bearing scars from beatings, shipwrecks, and betrayal. His joy wasn’t rooted in his circumstances, it was anchored in who God is and who we are in Him.

We often try to straddle the wall — one foot in the world, one foot in the kingdom. But sustainable joy comes when we fully surrender. Paul’s adversity gave authenticity to his words: God’s attributes plus our adoption equals unshakeable joy.

This month we’re challenging you to memorize Philippians 4:4-9. Pick up your memory card and discover the peace that comes from rejoicing in His presence and promises, not your circumstances.

Jump off the wall. There’s joy on the other side.

“I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not let your foot be moved; he who keeps you will not slumber.”
‭‭Psalm‬ ‭121‬:‭1‬-‭3‬ ‭

Freedom isn’t found in keeping rules perfectly or living however we want. Paul’s letter to the Galatians reveals a radical truth: our acceptance into God’s family was never about what we do, but about what Christ has done.

Christ didn’t abolish the law, He fulfilled it and bore its curse for us. Now we’re called to walk in freedom through the Holy Spirit, not as slaves to legalism or license, but as beloved children serving one another in love. This freedom requires effort: spiritual disciplines like prayer and fasting that weaken our flesh and deepen our dependence on God.

In a world divided by tribalism and cultural markers, we have a unique opportunity to show what gospel-centered unity looks like. It’s not uniformity. It’s costly humility that refuses to make secondary issues tests of salvation. May the Spirit be our guide.

“Maybe everything that has happened to you up to this moment has built you for such a time as this.”

When Queen Esther faced the impossible choice between her safety and her people’s survival, she didn’t look for a burning bush or angelic visitation. Instead, she called her community to fast for three days and declared, “If I perish, I perish.”

Her story reminds us that God often moves in subtle but significant ways throughout our lives. He was in her adoption by Mordecai, in her unexpected rise to royalty, and in the sleepless night that changed a king’s heart. Sometimes orphans become heroines when they trust God’s word enough to put it to work.

What if the challenges you’re facing right now aren’t obstacles but preparation? What if God has been positioning you all along for this very moment?

We’ll see you @ 10:45 tomorrow!

He is the One who stays the same … “I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end,” says the Lord God. “I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty One.”

“I have food to eat that you don’t know about.” - Jesus (John 4:32)

What if the spiritual hunger you’re experiencing can’t be satisfied by anything this world offers? Sunday, we explored how Jesus revealed a hidden source of sustenance that goes beyond the physical. When we fast, we’re not just skipping meals we’re awakening our appetite for something deeper, something eternal.

Our bodies and souls are connected. Sometimes the spiritual battles we face need physical solutions. Fasting isn’t about manipulating God; it’s about repositioning ourselves to depend on Him completely. It’s learning to taste the hidden manna that satisfies in ways temporary pleasures never could.

There’s more than what you can see, touch, and taste. Are you ready to acquire a taste for what truly matters?

Some Sundays just feel extra special. 💜

Sunday, we had the honor of celebrating child & parent dedication! Families standing together, committing to raise their children to know and follow Jesus, while our church family committed to walk alongside them.
Moments like these remind us why we love gathering together each and every Sunday. Every person who walks through our doors matters to us, and it’s a gift to worship, grow, celebrate, and know them!

We don’t take these moments for granted.
