Our work in Belize is done for 2026. The Belize mission team had an amazing week of renewed and new friendships with the people of Los Tambos. It is amazing how close you can become with people in only a few days. Without a doubt, each of our team members came home with more than we left in Belize. Our projects around the school have improved their situation, but the relationships are what will live on. Please pray for the people of Los Tambos and give thanks to God for the good work being done there.

This Sunday, our Fountain City Presbyterian Church Belize mission team worshiped in San Ignacio, Belize at Saint Andrews Anglican Church. The message was very fitting as it was from Matthew 28, the great commission from Christ to go forth and serve all nations. They enjoyed communion with the people of St. Andrew's and special recognition, including Jack Thomas on his birthday.

Join us this Sunday May, 31 during the 10:30 worship service as we recognize those in our church graduating this year! Graduates will be available in the greeting room following the service for a meet and greet. May they know always that Christ goes with them wherever they go and that they always have a place here at Fountain City Presbyterian Church.

Each month we designate donations toward a local non-profit or school as a gift of the month. This month our Community Outreach and Engagement Committee coordinated donations for Sacred Ground Hospice House. Items donated included cleaning supplies and personal care items. The team also donated blessing baskets for families sponsored by our GriefShare support group.

This Sunday we commissioned our 2026 Belize Mission Team. Our church has been a long time partner to the government school in Los Tambos, Belize. While in Belize, the team will spend time in worship, devotional time, improvement projects and Bible lessons at the primary school. They will also be celebrating graduation with four Fountain City Presbyterian sponsored high school students and distributing items like clothing made by our Grandma’s Pajamas sewing group, gifts for teachers and students, bikes for safe travel to school, and beans and rice to families.
