What kind of church will we be while we wait for God’s next steps?
Yesterday as we looked at Nehemiah 1-2, we were reminded that God’s people are called to be more than spectators. We are called to be faithful servants.
When Nehemiah heard about the brokenness of Jerusalem, he didn’t ignore it. He cared deeply. He prayed persistently. He trusted God completely. And when the opportunity came, he invited others to join the work.
As Calvary continues through this season of transition and pastor search, the challenge is clear:
❤️ Have a heart for God’s kingdom, God’s glory, and God’s people.
🙏 Pray persistently for our church, our search committee, and our future pastor.
🤝 Work together in the mission God has given us.
🏗️ Begin the good work—and keep going until it’s complete. The same God who guided Nehemiah is guiding us today.
“Being confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6
