Subject: You Are Invited - Worship Team and Worship Leader Workshop with Bret Testerman – November 10th

Laurel Worship Team, Worship Leaders, and Laurel Members,

Jacob Dowdy, Worship Minister at Hardin Valley is inviting you to an amazing opportunity for our praise teams to come together for a one-day workshop and worship experience!

On November 10th, we’ll be partnering with Hardin Valley Church of Christ and Farragut Church of Christ, and I’d love for all of you to participate.

We’re bringing in Bret Testerman, a renowned worship ministry mentor and founder of Worship Coach Inc., who has worked extensively with churches to develop and train worship leaders. Bret has a rich history in acapella and instrumental worship groups, as well as worship leadership in churches across OK, TX, and FL. His experience, including touring with Acappella and AVB, will be invaluable as we spend time learning and growing together.

The day kicks off with a catered lunch at 12:30 pm at Hardin Valley, followed by two workshop sessions and culminating in a powerful evening of worship together. Feel free to join for as much of the day as you can – we’d love to have your input and participation.

There is a special Unity Service being planned for March 28 leading up to Easter Weekend. The Worship planners at Hardin Valley Church of Christ (HVCC) have reached out asking for Praise Team Members from Laurel to participate in the event. I don't know the exact times of the service. But there may be a rehearsal coming soon for this.
If you are available and would like to participate, please confirm on PlanningCenter. JT, Mike, or Steve, or the folks at HVCC will make contact with you and let you know additional details. I don't know how many singers they can use so it may be limited to a first come first served sort of thing or whomever is in charge may select a small group of voices, but I would encourage all of you to attend the service and lend your voice regardless. https://hvcoc.org/ Laurel Church of Christ

Everybody who wants to, plan on a worship team rehearsal Wednesday 4/13 @6:45. We want to gather as many voices as possible to learn a new song for Easter Sunday and discuss the possibility of continuing some Wednesday night rehearsals again going forward...I hope you can join us.

Sharing...some of our teams will remember singing on some of these projects. I am still helping on the sheet music/slide team for Praise & Harmony and enjoying making an impact that way while my voice is recovering.
