One of the most important parts of Beach Camp happens away from the games, the beach, and the activities...it happens in small groups. ❤️

Throughout the week, students gathered in small groups to dig deeper into the messages that were shared, share struggles, encourage one another, and pray together.

Small groups create space for genuine community, where students can build friendships, be reminded that they aren't the only ones facing challenges, and help one another grow in faith. As we bear one another's burdens and point each other to Christ, we experience the kind of fellowship Scripture calls us to.

We're thankful for every leader who invested in these students and every conversation that helped strengthen faith and deepen relationships.

"And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together... but encouraging one another." — Hebrews 10:24-25

Small groups aren't just for camps or retreats, and here at Providence we encourage everyone to be a part of one. If you are looking for a group, check out our app and head to the GROUPS tab to search through them to find one that fits you!

Fix your eyes on Jesus.

Did you dig deeper into these passages (Mark 5:21-43) this week? Share what you uncovered in the comments!

That’s a wrap on Beach Camp!

Students enjoyed a week of sun, fun, friendships, and most importantly, time spent in God’s Word. New memories were made, deep conversations where had, and opportunities to grow deeper in their faith were plenty!

Pray that the seeds planted this week would continue to grow and bear fruit as everyone returns back to their daily life. Don’t let the “camp high” be a momentary thing, but something that stirs up a new fire and desire to walk closely with the Lord through the rest of their life.

We’re so grateful for every student, leader, and volunteer that made this week so special!

As we studied Mark 5:21-43, we are reminded that just like Jairus and the bleeding woman, we need Jesus to fix us in our hopelessness. We can't do it on our own, and nothing outside of Christ will make us whole.

If you are feeling the weight of hopelessness, grief, shame, or brokenness, turn to Jesus.

If you've tried everything but still can't find peace, come to Jesus. He brings peace that nothing else can!

Angel shared her powerful testimony with us on Sunday. She experienced so much hurt and abandonment as a child, which caused her to feel unloved and unwanted by both people and God. Trust didn't come easily for her.

She was placed in foster care at 11 and ultimately ended up in a home where church attendance and conversations about Christ were the norm. She described how she always felt the tug on her heart from the Lord, and after years, she finally accepted it and surrendered to that calling.

She went from being "fiesty" and easily angered, to finding herself being more patient and having conversations about topics that used to end up in arguments. When a new foster sister arrived at the house, she found herself feeling frustrated and challenged, but she overcame that through sharing the gospel instead of staying upset with the situation.

She's since been adopted not only into the family that fostered her, but as a child of God. What a blessing to have Angel as a sister in Christ! Join us in celebrating her and praying over her and her walk with Christ.

Raising disciples starts at home.

At Providence, we believe parenting is one of the greatest discipleship callings God gives. Family Dedication is about parents committing to raise their children to know, love, and follow Christ, and a church family committing to walk alongside them in that mission.

We are so thankful for the families who participated in Family Dedication this Mother’s Day. Let’s all continue to strengthen them through prayer and encouragement!

Satan can't possess those of us who are saved, because the Holy Spirit fills us! Satan and demons are the weaker force; the Holy Spirit is stronger, and he has control!
