The State Street Free Pantry is stocked and cared for by volunteers who help ensure food is available to neighbors in need.

Because the pantry is used daily, even a small commitment can make a meaningful difference.

Pantry volunteers make quick visits during the week to check the pantry and restock items from food shelves in the church office.

If you'd like to help support this ministry, we'd love to hear from you.

Thank you to everyone who supported the State Street Community Garden through Ignite Kirkland 2026.

Your generosity helps provide the resources needed to sustain the garden throughout the growing season, while volunteers contribute their time, energy, and care to make the project possible.

What began as a conversation about sharing harvests has grown into something much larger through our partnership with New Bethlehem Place.

Your gifts, encouragement, and volunteer support help us grow fresh produce for families served through that partnership, and we are grateful to everyone who helped make it possible.

We look forward to sharing the garden's progress throughout the season. 🌱

Today is the final day of Ignite Kirkland 2026.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the State Street Community Garden and helped grow fresh food for families experiencing housing instability in our community.

What began as a conversation about sharing our harvests has grown into a partnership with New Bethlehem Place and a commitment to growing food intentionally for our neighbors.

If you would still like to support the project, there is time to make a gift before the campaign closes tonight.

As an added incentive, gifts of $25 or more made TODAY will qualify the donor for a drawing that could direct an additional $1,000 to a participating Ignite Kirkland cause.

The State Street Community Garden grows more than vegetables.

Throughout the season, volunteers help plant, water, maintain, and harvest fresh produce that is shared with families served by New Bethlehem Place.

What began as a conversation about sharing extra harvests has grown into a partnership focused on growing food intentionally for families experiencing housing instability in our community.

Through Ignite Kirkland 2026, you can help support the resources needed to sustain the garden throughout the growing season.

🚐 The Name the Van contest is underway!

Look for the ballot box in the narthex and submit your idea for St. John's new 12-passenger van.

Our preschool and Sunday school children will help paint and decorate the van, and we'd love your help finding the perfect name.

The contest ends Sunday, June 14, so bring your best ideas and help us choose a name that reflects the spirit of St. John's.
