The Lord’s Prayer takes less than a minute to say.

That doesn’t mean long prayers are wrong.

But sometimes we spend more time talking about the problem than believing for the answer.

When God looked at the darkness, He didn’t say:

“Wow, it’s really dark.”

He said:

“Let there be light.”

Faith doesn’t ignore reality.
It speaks God’s truth into it.

Don’t spend all your prayer time describing the darkness.

Start declaring the light.

When Moses came down from the mountain, he was glowing from being in God’s presence.

When the disciples stood before their critics, people noticed something different about them.

They weren’t highly educated.
They weren’t powerful by the world’s standards.

But one thing was obvious:

They had been with Jesus.

The same is true today.

When you spend time with God, He changes you.

You may not notice it right away, but others will.

Your words change.
Your attitude changes.
Your presence changes.

Time with God leaves a mark.

God presents His truth.
His promises.
His plan.

But they don’t automatically show up in your life.

Throughout Scripture, people had to respond.

Mary said, “Be it unto me according to your word.”

That’s the posture of faith.

Not just believing something is true...
but saying yes to it.

Faith receives.
Faith agrees.
Faith responds.

When God speaks, the question is simple:

Will you say yes?
