Today our leaders prayed over your kiddos and then led them through three other prayer stations where they prayed for their schools and campuses, their teachers and their friends.
We are believing this will be their best year yet!
Psalm 65:11 in the New Living Translation says that He crowns the year with His goodness and that even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. This is our prayer for your children! That the Lord goes before them and crowns THIS year with goodness and that even when it’s difficult that they find it overflowing with abundant grace and favor.

We pray that your children carry the love of Jesus with them everywhere they go this school year and that His goodness is evident and displayed in everything they do as they live their lives for His glory. The last sentence of a declaration we do EVERY Sunday is “MY LIFE CAN TELL OF YOUR WONDER!” They are a living epistle, a testimony of the goodness of God. I pray that every place their feet take them will be blessed, prosperous, and that the favor of God will go before them! That they will be the head and not the tail and that their words will be seasoned with salt and grace and be a blessing to whomever hears it. That they, like Daniel, would be 10 times better than their peers and succeed in all they put their hands to. That the Lord would cover them with protection and give them wisdom and discernment. That would comprehend all that they learn and remember it. That would rise as leaders among their communities and lead with love. That others would look to them as an example and see something in them that makes them want Jesus! This is our prayer for them.

One guess as to what we are learning about on Sunday!🥰🔥

because God sees the suffering of the Israelites and hears the cries of his people, he comes down and speaks to Moses from a burning bush, revealing his plan to lead them out of Egypt.

The promise started with Abraham and was passed on to Isaac and then to Jacob and their Jacob’s family grew and grew. They were so far away from the land that God had promised that God did not forget his people and through Moses, we learn that God keeps his promises!

our memory verse for April is Psalm 77 verse 12
I will spend time thinking about everything you have done! I will consider all your mighty acts.

as we approach Easter, let us marvel in the wonder of our Jesus! And all that God has done.

Who is Jesus?
In RSKids we’ve been taking a deep dive into scripture to answer that very question. Last month we talked about the son of God being the image of the invisible God. To know Jesus is to know God, and all we have to do is look at Him and His life to know the Father.

Last week we talked about Jesus being the bread of life and what that means for us. As we took communion together, we thanked Jesus for being the sacrifice that made a way for us to have a relationship with the Father.

Today we talked about Jesus being the way the truth and the life.

Our memory verse for this month is, I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in darkness. They will have that light. They will have life. This comes from John 8:12.

To end our time together today we took a journey down a prayer path and had conversations with Jesus. We are so thankful for who He is and all that He did for us.

We love our Mom’s prayer group. 😭🫶🏼🧡 our hearts have been so full as we’ve been connecting, interceding together, and praying over one another. We have seen God moving and answering prayers! If you are a mom of any season, we’d love to connect with you! Our next gathering is this coming Monday, November 18th, from 10-12 pm in the RS coffeehouse. Childcare and coffee are provided.

Join us for our LAST SUMMER SPLASH!

When: September 7th from 5-7 p.m.

Where: RiverStone Upperfield

There will be water play/games, bubbles and more! We’ll provide the food for a family picnic. There is also a volleyball net for those interested in playing. Bring a towel, blanket/chairs, and a change of clothes for your kids!

Miss Colleen is moving!!! She has joyfully served in our nursery for years. Even if she was not on the schedule, she still showed up making herself available to serve however needed, in whatever capacity. She has loved us and RiverStone’s kids well. She has been a valued friend and volunteer and will be missed! May this next season be full of abundant joy and favor!!! We love you!
