We are really looking forward to a special evening at our synagogue this Tuesday, March 10 at 7:00 PM with former U.S. Representative and author Steve Israel.

Steve will be speaking about his fascinating new novel, The Einstein Conspiracy—a story that weaves history, intrigue, and imagination together around one of the world’s most iconic scientific figures.

It promises to be a thoughtful and engaging conversation, and I hope many of you will join us for what should be a wonderful night of learning, discussion, and community.

January 27 is International Holocaust Remembrance Day, marking the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau and honoring the six million Jews murdered in the Holocaust, along with the millions of other victims of N**i persecution.

It is a day about memory—and about why memory matters.

October 7 is now another date that will never be forgotten. A day of terror, violence, and loss that once again targeted Jews simply for being Jewish.

Yesterday, January 26, marked the return of the final hostage, Ran Givili. After months and months of waiting—of hostages being returned alive, and others returned so their families could bury them with dignity—this painful chapter has come to a close.

On this Holocaust Remembrance Day, the past and present are bound together by memory.

May the memories of all who were lost be for a blessing.
May they never be forgotten.
And may “never again” truly mean never again.
