Truck Day was so much fun for everyone! Our children had an amazing time exploring a variety of vehicles, climbing aboard, asking questions, and learning about the important roles these trucks and service vehicles play in our community. From the payloader and police cars to the fire trucks, ice cream truck, and so much more, there was excitement around every corner.
A huge thank you to our wonderful community partners who took the time to join us, educate our children, and help make this event so special. We are grateful for your support and dedication to community engagement.
Special thanks to the Town of Oyster Bay, the Syosset Fire Department, the Nassau County Police Department Second Precinct, the New York State Troopers, and Mark’s Ice Cream for bringing their vehicles, sharing their expertise, and creating memorable experiences for our students and families. Your participation helped make Truck Day an unforgettable event filled with learning, exploration, and fun. 🚒🚓🚜🍦✨

Chag Sameach! Happy Shavuot! Join us this evening, Friday, May 22nd as our Adult B’not Mitzvah and Confirmation Class help lead our congregation for our Erev Shabbat service. A festive Shavuot oneg following services. Return tomorrow morning, Saturday, May 23rd at 10:00 AM for our Shacharit Shavuot Service where our Adult B’not Mitzvah and Confirmands will proudly lead the service, be called to the Torah, and share lessons they’ve learned. Help us share in this wonderful simcha and celebrate two years of hard work. Mazel Tov!

Last night, Sisterhood had a fantastic evening learning the art of sushi making! From rolling perfect tuna and California rolls to mastering technique and presentation, everyone had such a fun hands-on experience. The room was filled with laughter, creativity, and delicious food as we learned new skills together and enjoyed a wonderful night out with friends. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this memorable event!

This past week, we celebrated the final days of Religious School, culminating in our beautiful End-of-Year Youth Celebration Shabbat and special Family Shabbat Service. It was a truly meaningful evening as we honored all of our incredible students and dedicated teachers for a year filled with learning, friendship, growth, and community.
Before services, families gathered together to enjoy a delicious BBQ dinner, creating a warm and festive atmosphere filled with laughter, conversation, and community spirit. Following services, everyone came together once again for a scrumptious oneg featuring wonderful treats and desserts. A heartfelt thank you goes to the Brotherhood for generously sponsoring the BBQ, and to All Round Foods for their thoughtful donation of delicious baked goods that made the evening even sweeter.
The celebrations continued on Sunday after our final day of Religious School when students had a visit from the ice cream truck — the perfect way to kick off summer with smiles, excitement, and a well-earned treat!
As another wonderful school year comes to a close, we are so proud of everything our students accomplished and grateful to our teachers, families, and volunteers who helped make this year so special. We wish everyone a fun, relaxing, and safe summer, and we look forward to another amazing year of learning, growth, and Jewish community together in the fall.
Religious School registration is now open for the 2026–2027 school year, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another exciting year ahead!
