About Our Clergy
Rabbi Ben Herman grew up in a close-knit family with weekly Shabbat dinners and service attendance which was extremely devoted to Judaism and to Israel. Originally from Milwaukee, Rabbi Herman received his BA in History, Hebrew and Jewish Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Rabbinic Ordination with an MA in Jewish Education from the Jewish Theological Seminary of

America. He previously served as Assistant Rabbi and Education Director at Congregation Anshei Israel in Tucson, Arizona. Rabbi Herman became a rabbi out of his interest in people, his passion for Jewish life and his desire to help Judaism blossom, flourish and grow within a community. His vision is to ensure that the Jericho Jewish Center is a vibrant place where everyone is welcome and appreciated for who they are and what they bring to our synagogue. Rabbi Herman values each relationship with congregants and their families.
