🕯️ In Memory — Iron Swords War Memorial Day

Today we pause as a community to honor the memory of the soldiers, first responders, and civilians who were murdered or fell in battle since October 7th, and to hold their families and loved ones in our hearts.

We stand together with Klal Yisrael in grief, in resilience, and in hope as we lift up the Prayer for the State of Israel, asking for strength for the wounded, comfort for the bereaved, and peace for the land and all who dwell within it.

May their memory be a blessing

As Simchat Torah approaches, along with the third anniversary of October 7, Rabbi Joel Levenson reflects on Captain Omer Neutra z”l, Yizkor, and the challenge contained in the words his mother Orna has used so powerfully:

“May we be worthy.”
