The Messenger of Allah ď·ş said:

“If you have no shame (haya’), then do as you wish.”

(Sahih al-Bukhari)

This profound statement from the words of earlier prophets is both a warning and a guide.

When haya’ (modesty, shyness, and a sense of shame before God and people) leaves a person, there is no internal check left to stop them from wrongdoing. But as long as haya’ remains in the heart, it protects faith, character, and dignity.

Haya’ is a branch of Iman (faith). It brings only good. It stops us from actions we would be ashamed to do in front of our Lord, our family, or even ourselves.

In a time when shamelessness is often celebrated, let’s revive this beautiful quality in ourselves and our homes.
Ask yourself before every action:
“Would I feel ashamed doing this in front of God?”

May God grant us all true haya’ that increases our faith and keeps us away from what displeases Him. 🤲

“Indeed, haya’ does not bring anything except good.” — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ

Why Muslims Prefer Halal Zabihah Meat

For Muslims, eating halal is not just about taste — it’s about following the guidance of Allah. The Quran teaches believers to eat what is lawful (halal) and pure (tayyib).

“O mankind, eat from whatever is on earth that is lawful and good (halal and tayyib)…”
— Qur’an 2:168

“So eat of that upon which the name of Allah has been mentioned, if you are believers in His verses.”
— Qur’an 6:118

Many people also notice a cleaner, richer flavor—and there are a few reasons why:

✔️ More blood is drained
The Zabihah method allows the blood to fully drain from the animal. Blood is prohibited in Islam (Qur’an 5:3), and removing it can leave the meat tasting cleaner and fresher.

✔️ Less stress on the animal
Islam teaches kindness to animals and proper treatment before slaughter.

✔️ Clean and careful processing
Halal standards emphasize hygiene, respect for the animal, and mentioning the name of Allah during slaughter.

For Muslims, halal zabihah meat is not only about better taste, but also about obedience to Allah and eating what is pure and lawful.
