Trinity Church Garfield Park

A week ago, our church family got the opportunity to celebrate and welcome eight of our people into the family of God!

For the past several months, we have been journeying through the Beatitudes and practicing the sacrament of Communion together as we have gathered, and last Thursday we began a new series on the SEVEN virtues and vices and had an evening of Baptisms!

As we have leaned into what the kingdom of God looks like, we offered an opportunity for people to respond in one of the greatest acts of humility that Jesus offers--baptism--new beginnings and a marker of dying to sin and finding resurrection life and freedom in Him.

THE KINGDOM IS HERE, in the hiddeness of the unhoused community, and we are honored to love and walk alongside our neighbors--now brothers and sisters--on the southside of Indy!

Even more, we were privileged to host a memorial service for eight people in the Garfield Park community who passed away tragically over the course of this past year during the month of February. And now, nearly a month later, God has moved redemptively and powerfully for us to be able to celebrate eight people finding newness of life!

It has been a joyFULL season of Spirit-led fellowship, food, and friendship down at Garfield Park Campus this past month! We are beyond thankful for our steady partners at Southview Wesleyan Church and our dedicated Trinity Church Indianapolis family on the northside.

In the past couple weeks we have decorated many cookies, shared many laughs, shed many tears, taken many naps, and taken time to remember that the "God with us" breaks down every barrier to come and call us back home.

We are excited for the season to come, as we lean deeper into encountering Jesus, making beauty more available to all people, and being part of making Kingdom come, here and now!

Note: this year's performance will be Thursday at 6:30pm.
It is going to be a night of fun, fellowship, and beauty that we can't wait to experience with you :)
