What happens when life falls apart?
This week, as we wrapped up our Story Formed series, we heard from a couple whose family walked through seasons of crisis, uncertainty, and deep hurt. In those moments, they experienced something beautiful: they weren’t left to carry their burdens alone.
Through meals, prayers, childcare, conversations, and countless acts of faithfulness, God provided people who stepped into the hard places with them. As one of them described it, they had people willing to “jump into the mud” beside them.
Their story isn’t ultimately about one family, or even about our church. It’s about a God who cares for His people and often chooses to do so through the hands and feet of others.
Galatians 6:2 calls us to “carry each other’s burdens.” This story is a reminder that the Church is at its best when we do exactly that.
Who has helped carry your burden in a difficult season? And who might need you to walk alongside them today?
