Calm the winds, lessen the destruction, and bring peace to fearful hearts. The rosary helps us to live the mysteries of Jesus by entering into them close beside Mary. She is the creature who best knows Christ, since “it was in her womb that Christ was formed, receiving from her a human resemblance which points to an even greater spiritual closeness”[Saint John Paul II, Rosarium Virginis Mariae, no. 10.] To draw close to Mary is to draw close to her son Jesus.
