Join the Franciscan Friars, TOR for a Pilgrimage Day in honor of the Holy Year of St. Francis of Assisi on Wednesday, May 20th. His Holiness Pope Leo XIV has approved a Plenary Indulgence for the Faithful who visit a Franciscan Church or Chapel and fulfill the prescribed conditions. This Pilgrimage Day provides you with the opportunity to obtain the Plenary Indulgence.

The Pilgrimage will begin at 10:00 AM and includes reflection, the celebration of Holy Mass, and lunch with the friars. This pilgrimage is a free will offering and will be held at St. Bernardine Monastery, 768 Monastery Road, Hollidaysburg. To register, please call 814-695-3802 by Friday, May 15th. We look forward to seeing you!

Lord, let everything I do in the coming Holy Week be inspired by You.

Help me to remember that nothing is important in my life unless it glorifies You in some way. It’s so easy to get caught up in the day to day of my life.

Help me to enter fully into your Passion through my Lenten promises and always be reminded that You went to the desert, the garden and the cross for me.
