WonderFest '26 is coming soon!
Along with music, food, and fun, there will be some giving too!

You're invited to bring new, packaged adult sized socks to WonderFest, and then they'll be distributed for free through the Denver Library. A clean, new pair of socks can be the best thing about a day on the streets, and you can help make that happen!

The news this week has been focused on the life of Dolly Parton and her spirit of compassion and generosity focused on childhood literacy, disaster relief, and medical research. She was a remarkable music legend whose life was guided by a faith that taught her to love God and love others.

How do we understand what it means to really love others in the world today? How does Jesus guide his disciples and followers to love others? What gives us endurance to keep up this work? We will explore these questions and more on Sunday morning as part of our 5 Marks of a Methodist series!

SLY, Jr. KICK OFF: 
FAMILY INFO MEETING, POTLUCK & GAMES!

SLY, Jr. is our fun and fellowship group for tweens (5th & 6th graders) and we meet throughout the school year to do service work, have a blast, and create courageous community together. 

We will kick off the SLY, Jr. year with a family information meeting with food and fun! Kids and parents join us for this fun time together to kick off the new year of SLY, Jr.! Bring a dish to share!

Tell your human to bring you to St. Luke's on September 27th for the annual Blessing of the Animals!
From 5-6pm that afternoon, stop by the church backyard for a treat, a blessing, and a special keepsake.

It's Sunday morning, and you're invited to worship!

One of the sustaining parts of worship is prayer, and we'll be talking about prayer at St. Luke's today.
Prayer is the way we create and sustain our relationship with God. It is not a one-way communication, but a back and forth dialogue.

And it's Blessing of the Backpacks!
After the 9:30 worship service, enjoy a bounce in the bouncy castle and a freeze pop!

Everyone involved in education is invited, from pre-K through PhD: students, teachers, administrators, paras, bus drivers, nutrition services, facilities, etc.

Bring your backpack, or whatever you use at school, to receive a special blessing keepsake.

The bouncy castle will be up and there will be free freeze pops!
