If you're in the Centennial area, join us for our Midweek Study in Praying Through Acts.
Christians have endured persecution for 2000 years. Christ suffered for our sins, and now Christians suffer for their faith in Christ all over the world. So persecution is always bad, right? Well, some churches believe Christianity is all about health, wealth, and prosperity believe suffering and persecution is a sign of a weak faith.
So is suffering and persecution always bad? Or does God have a use for it in our own lives and for the sake of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:18-20)?
Tonight, we look at the scattering of the church in Acts 8:1-3 due to persecution and show that God can and does use this for the good of the church and the world! How? Come tonight and find out!
The notes are attached. I'd encourage you to look up the Scriptures for your edification and to ready yourselves for the discussion tonight.
See you in the Chapel at 6:00 pm tonight.
