🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ That's a wrap on Valley View Sports Camp 2026!

What an incredible week of sports, friendship, faith, and fun. Today, our campers finished strong with Track & Field events, showing determination, enthusiasm, and great sportsmanship.

Throughout the week, we've watched kids learn new skills, encourage teammates, build friendships, and grow in confidence both on and off the field.

Our final devotional reminded campers to HAVE FUN! Proverbs 17:22 says, "A cheerful heart is good medicine." God wants us to enjoy Him and the abundant life He provides, and it was a joy to see our campers living that out all week long.

Thank you to all the families who joined us for Sports Camp. We loved every minute of it and hope to see you soon at Valley View Christian Church on Sundays at 8, 9:30, or 11 a.m.!

🏈 Day 3 of Sports Camp: Flag Football!

What a great day on the field at Valley View Sports Camp! Campers learned new plays, built their skills, and brought incredible energy to every drill and game. It was awesome watching teamwork in action as kids communicated, encouraged one another, and gave their very best effort.

Our devotional today was based on Colossians 3:23–24, reminding us to “work hard” in everything we do as if we are serving the Lord. Whether on the field, at school, or at home, everything we do matters to God when we do it with the right heart.

We’re also grateful for today’s sponsor, John Adams Academy, a K–12 classical charter school opening grades K–8 in Fall 2026. Their heart to develop servant leaders and help students pursue what is good, true, and beautiful aligns beautifully with our hope for every child.

Tomorrow is our FINAL day of camp, and we’re excited to finish strong with Track & Field! 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️

⚽ Another great day at Valley View Sports Camp!

Today our campers sharpened their soccer skills, built new friendships, and learned that encouragement can make a big difference, both on and off the field. 🙌

Through Hebrews 10:24-25, we talked about what it means to build others up with our words and actions. Whether celebrating a teammate's goal or cheering someone on after a tough play, our campers showed what encouragement looks like in action! 💙

We are so excited for tomorrow!

What a great start to Valley View Sports Camp! Today our campers worked on basketball skills, cheered each other on, and brought the energy all day long. 💪⁠

But we didn't just work on our jump shots, we worked on our attitudes too. Through Philippians 4:8, we learned that what we think about shapes how we act, speak, and treat others. Our challenge? Choose an attitude that honors God, on and off the court. ⭐⁠

You're invited to a FREE Family Easter Egg Hunt! Gather the kids and join us for an evening of fun as thousands of eggs are scattered and waiting to be found. Hot dogs will be served, and the egg hunt is open for infants through 6th grade with designated areas for each age group. Bring your baskets and come celebrate Easter with us!⁠
