Let's pray

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of this Sunday morning and for the blessing of life. I am grateful for Your mercy, Your love, and the peace You give each new day.
Lord, as I enter this day, fill me with Your presence and guide my thoughts, words, and actions. Help me to worship You in spirit and in truth, and to walk in humility, faith, and gratitude.
Please protect me, my family, and all that concerns me. Let Your grace go before us, Your peace rest upon us, and Your hand of preservation remain over our lives.
Bless this Sunday with joy, strength, and spiritual refreshment. May my heart be open to Your word and my life reflect Your goodness. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Moving Forward: Well, here some of us are!

“For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine and accurate instruction [that challenges them with God’s truth]; but wanting to have their ears tickled [with something pleasing], they will accumulate for themselves [many] teachers [one after another, chosen] to satisfy their own desires and to support the errors they hold,

and will turn their ears away from the truth and will wander off into myths and man-made fictions [and will accept the unacceptable].” 2 Timothy‬ ‭4‬‬:‭3-4‬ AMP

The Distortion of Christianity!

It is not new it has been happening since the early beginnings of the church.

Judaized Christianity - Gentiles must first become Jews; mostly early church era

Legalized Christianity - God’s favor is earned by good behavior

Lawless Christianity - God‘s word is not as important as our personal sense of God‘s guidance

True Christianity - Believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus the Christ as Savior and commit to living Godly principles daily through the aid of the Holy Spirit
