What does your Student Pastor want dads to know? Pastor J.G. gave this encouragement on Father's Day this Sunday.

What did the dads do at church today? They encouraged one another, they taught Sunday school, they served coffee, they led worship, they rocked babies, they modeled worship for their families, and a hundred other things that no one sees.

We're thankful today for the fathers and father figures in our lives that teach us who God is and how much he loves us. May those grieving today as a difficult holiday be comforted by God the Father.

The last whistle has blown, the last ball has been dodged, and the last piece of pizza has been eaten. It was a great week at SPORTS CAMP! We love all of the families who participated and hope to see you Sunday.

We also want to say a huge thank you to Ashley Elliott, Matt Hunt, and all of our incredible volunteers for all their hard work to make this week possible!!

Dear friends, don’t be surprised when the fiery ordeal comes among you to test you, as if something unusual were happening to you. Instead, rejoice as you share in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may also rejoice with great joy when his glory is revealed. Greer First member Dr. Travis Kerns has been elected Southern Baptist Convention's Recording Secretary. He'll be responsible for documenting the annual meeting, representing messengers from all SBC churches on the Executive Committee, and other important tasks within the denomination. We're thankful for his willingness to serve!
