This week we continue learning from the very first Children's pastor, Moses.

I've been a kids pastor for a long time and I've seen a lot of things. I'm sure, if you've been around kids a lot, you've seen a lot of things. Have you ever left the kids alone for a while and left somebody you thought was responsible in charge just to come back and the whole place be wrecked? The one we left in charge messed up big time and let us down.

But if you think about it, we have all messed up, sinned, and failed God. We all know the pain and shame of sin. Sadly, Christians aren’t always the best at helping those who have sinned get back on track. Too often, we “shoot our wounded” instead of helping them and restoring them.

Moses’ brother, Aaron, made a HUGE mistake. He helped the people of Israel to worship a golden calf instead of worshipping God. Moses was NOT happy with him, and neither was God.

Instead of holding it over Aaron’s head for the rest of his life, Moses gave him a second chance. Moses restored him to a place of leadership and even made him the Chief Priest.

In this lesson, we will learn that even when we fail, God will forgive and restore us if we are humble and repent.

It's gonna be another great week in Greer Kidz Church, come and join us and see all that God is doing!

I've attached a family devotion for you to prepare for this weeks lesson.

We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, we have seat saved for you... yes you!!!

This week we start a new series at Greer Kidz Kids Church. The series is called "Camp Wilderness", where we will learn stories from the very first Children's Pastor, Moses.

Camp Wilderness promises to be a wild and hilarious adventure through the stories of Moses and the children of Israel as they wandered through the wilderness. This series is a fun look at how we can learn to trust and follow God, even when life feels a little uncertain.

But this series isn’t just about tents, bug spray, and birdhouses (although there’s plenty of that in the misadventures of Cody, you gotta be here to see, lol). This series is about helping us all see that just as God provided for the Israelites in the wilderness, He still provides for us today. Whether it’s direction, forgiveness, strength, or help working as a team, God is faithful to teach and help us with each situation.

Over the next 6 weeks, we will learn that God is right here in the journey with us - teaching, providing, guiding, and helping us navigate life’s unpredictable wilderness moments, and we pray that everyone enjoys this series and that our faith is stretched in the process!

This week, we will learn that we live in a world where kids are constantly worried about having what they need. They hear about how expensive things are and how difficult life is. They wonder, “Will God take care of me?”

That’s why it’s so important that we each learn this foundational truth early on: God is our Provider. In this lesson, we will learn from Exodus 16, where God provided manna and quail to the Israelites in the wilderness. We will learn that God knows what we need before we even ask and can use miracles to take care of us.

This lesson will remind all of us that we serve a God who is not distant or stingy, but one who delights in providing for His children.

Come join us this Sunday at 11am!

We have a seat saved for you and look forward to seeing you here!

Please enjoy this Family Devotion and you prepare for this weeks encounter with Jesus at Greer Kidz!

Here I am at the FOCUS Conference in Cleveland, Tennessee. I get to spend time this weekend with some of the best Kidmin Leaders there is. I am so grateful for this time.

As a Kidmin leader, as a Christian, we must spend time with Jesus so we can accomplish everything He desires from us. We must stay in His word and have a relationship with Him. However, as busy adults, we often get too busy to do what we need to do.

When we first become a Christian, we love spending time with God. We can’t even imagine doing anything without praying first. We just want to spend time with Him and depend on Him for everything.

The longer we serve God, the busier we tend to get. We forget that we NEED God’s power every single day. We begin to become self-reliant instead of God-reliant. When we do this, we end up getting ourselves in a load of trouble. We've already talked a lot about this here at the conference and I can't wait to get back and share with you all.

In the lesson this week, we will learn from the story of Daniel and the Lion’s Den that we must depend on God’s power every single day.

We must spend time with Him and receive from Him so that we can accomplish the things He wants to do in our lives. We need God’s power every single day!

I can't wait to be back in church with you all again and see all that God has in store for us!

I look forward to seeing you at 11am!

Another week has passed, and it's time we get to go back to church! I'm so excited that I get to go to church and see all of my friends!

Last Sunday, it was raining really bad and a lot of people chose to stay home rather than go to church. I'm so glad all of you chose to come to church! One of you even rode your bike to church, in the rain, and then rode it back home to get a change of clothes so you could be baptized, and then rode it back! WoW! That's so awesome! Not everyone would do that. In fact, most of the time, many of those in our community would rather stay home then ride their bike to church; in the rain! But you all chose to go against what the crowd may do and you chose to come to church.

You know, it’s not easy to go against the crowd and do things that others probably wouldn't do. I mean, it's so easy just to go with the crowd. But often, we choose to follow the crowd instead of doing what’s right. Children, especially, tend to give in to peer pressure, following others rather than doing what we know is right.

Through the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, we are going to learn all about how important it is to make up our own minds to please God, no matter what. We will learn that, when we live to please God, He will always bless our lives.

In Galatians 1:10a, we find a very important question that we must answer: “Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God?” Taking a stand and pleasing God is much more difficult than trying to please the crowd.

Let us all choose just like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Let's all choose to be just like all of you who chose to get up in the rain and come to church, even if it meant riding your bike to get there. Let's all choose to please GOD, not people!

I look forward to seeing all of you this Sunday in Greer Kidz Kids Church! Invite a friend! We have great things happening, and you don't want your friends to miss out on it all!

We have a seat saved for you! Enjoy this Family Devotion as you and your family prepare to join us at Church this Sunday!

it's been 3 weeks since we've been in Greer Kidz Church! We had 2 weeks we missed because of ice or snow and then last week we were in concert with Kings Highway. The snow and ice and singing was great, but when we're not together things just aren't the same!

I love coming together and worshipping together. I especially love coming together and worshipping with this group of kids, because I know their worship is real! It's true and sincere and it blesses me to be a part of it all.

In today's world with AI and everything else it’s hard to tell the difference between what’s real and what’s fake. Whether it’s a knockoff brand, a counterfeit bill, or even a pretend friend in a game, things aren’t always what they seem. But when it comes to God, there’s no confusion - there is only ONE true God!

Elijah was a prophet of God who had to prove to the people of Israel who the ONE true God really was. He was one man of God against 400 prophets of Baal. The challenge was clear— the God who answered by fire would be declared the only true God.

In this lesson, we will discover that there is only ONE true God. Many may claim to be, but only our God is alive, powerful, and worthy of worship!

This is going to be a great Sunday as we come together in praise and worship of the one and only true God!

We have a seat saved for you! Come and join us and bring a friend of 10 with you!

Good Thursday evening!

It has been a busy couple of weeks for us here at Greer Church of God. We are working hard at expanding and updating our Kids Church area to, above all else, provide a great place to worship and draw closer to Jesus. However, we are also updating the way we check in to provide the best safety for everyone.

We've completed a lot of work, and we still have a lot of work left to do, but we trust that God will bless us for our efforts and fill every seat with a child who is eager to draw closer to Jesus!

We are trusting God's plan.

God wants us to trust Him completely. He is always with us, ready to guide and help us, but sometimes we struggle to rely on Him. Instead, we try to handle things on our own, only to find ourselves overwhelmed and afraid.

When life gets difficult, it’s easy to doubt and let fear take over. But true faith means keeping our eyes on God, even when things feel uncertain. We can trust Him in every situation—big or small—because He is faithful and never fails us.

In this week's lesson, we will learn from the story of Peter walking on water and the wisdom of Proverbs 3:5-6. Through this, we’ll discover what it means to trust God with all our heart, no matter what challenges come our way.

We look forward to you joining us this Sunday and checking out all the changes. But most of all, we want you to come to worship Jesus with us!

We are continuing our series entitles "Epic".. and it is.. EPIC!!

We have a seat saved for you and your friends!!

This has been a BIG week. We have started renovating our kids' area, tearing down walls and making more room for more kids! It's gonna be awesome.

It's a BIG job

However, we know that God will bless us as we step out on faith to build His kingdom, and I'm excited about what our kids will accomplish as they continue to grow closer to Jesus.

Speaking of kids:

David was just a young kid - about fourteen years old. He walked into the Israelite camp, amazed that not one of the adult soldiers was willing to take on the giant, Goliath, who was threatening them and blaspheming God.

David was willing to go up against the odds - and a nine-foot-tall giant. You talk about BIG trouble! David had his hands full. But he didn’t let that stop him from trusting God for the victory.

In this lesson, we will learn how God can use young boys and girls who are willing to step out in God’s mighty power and face the BIG giants in their lives. The trouble in their life may be BIG, but their God is so much bigger!

I'm amazed each week as I watch our kids step out on faith and do more and more for the kingdom. Many have stepped out of their comfort zones and are discovering gifts that God has blessed them with. Our desire is to develop disciples that will take God's word to our schools, our community, and even to our nation!

There is nothing too big for our Big God!

Come join us this week in the construction zone as we learn together! We have a seat saved for you!

We look forward to seeing you this Sunday! at 11am!
