The Advance of the Gospel

THIS SUNDAY AT PROVIDENCE

Have you ever looked at something happening in your life and thought… “God, this is not how I thought this would go.”

Maybe it was a closed door, an unexpected setback, a long season of waiting, or maybe it was just a situation you would change if you could.

In Philippians 1:12, Paul looks back over some of the hardest circumstances of his life and sees something remarkable: God was using it.

“I want you to know, brothers, that what has happened to me has really served to advance the gospel.”
— Philippians 1:12

Following the message, we will gather around the Lord’s Table for Communion, remembering the broken body and shed blood of Jesus Christ and celebrating the gospel that is our hope!

Come worship with us. Come ready to hear from God’s Word. And come prepared to remember together what Christ has done for us.

It is a privilege to pray for the students, teachers and staff. May God bless you with a safe and successful school year.
