I STILL HAVE A REASON TO PRAISE DAY 29
Psalm 100:4–5: “Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise… For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”
Someone once asked me where I get inspiration for my messages. I told them, first and foremost, it comes from time alone with God. Sometimes God also uses people, circumstances, songs, and everyday moments to speak to me.
This morning, as I was preparing what I thought would be the message for the hour, I felt God speak clearly to my heart:
“They don’t need a message for the hour. They need a message for NOW!”
Maybe that is exactly where some of us are today.
Life can become difficult. Sickness comes. Death disrupts. Circumstances change. Things don't always happen the way we planned. We can find ourselves wondering, “What’s next?”
But today, God wants you to know:
He is still near. He is still on the throne. And He still has what you need.
Your circumstances may have changed, but God has not.
When I'm at my end, He's just beginning.
When I hit a wall, He gives me strength.
When I face a mountain, He still moves mountains.
When I'm out of faith, He is still faithful.
When I'm at my worst, He is still good.
When I don't have the answers, He is still the answer.
God sees your problem. He sees your circumstance. He sees through the fog and the clouds that may surround you. And even when you can't see a way out, you can still say:
“You're still on Your throne, so whatever I'm feeling, I've still got a reason to praise!”
God is still the God of the breakthrough.
He brings dry bones back to life. He turns deserts into places of blessing. He rolls stones away. He causes hearts to beat again. He brings hope where there was despair.
So whatever you are facing right now, don't let your circumstances silence your praise. You still have a reason to praise.
Because He is still God. He is still good. He is still faithful. He is still working. And He is still on the throne.
