Come celebrate with us at our 112th Homecoming at Shady Grove Pentecostal Holiness Church in Grand Ridge Florida. This Sunday beginning at 10 AM , we will be having special singing from our wonderful praise team, as well as other special singers. We will also be enjoying powerful preaching from Pastor David Goodman of Blountstown PHC. After we have feasted on the Word, we’ll feast on some of the best food around immediately following the service. Please come out and join us in this very special day to reflect on all that God has done for our congregation while looking forward with great anticipation of what God has in store for His Church ahead. “ This know also that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous , boasters , proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers , incontinent, fierce , despisers if those that are good. Traitors, high minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: FROM SUCH TURN AWAY. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts. Everlearning, and NEVER ABLE TO COME TO THE KNOWLEDGE OF TRUTH. Now as James and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also RESIST THE TRUTH:men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the truth. BUT THEY SHALL PROCEED NO FURTHER: FOR THEIR FOLLY SHALL BE MANIFEST UNTO ALL MEN, as theirs also was”. 2nd Timothy 3:1-9

Pauls warning of the state of men’s and women’s heart in the last days for a certainty are now evident all around us and the alarm is going unheeded. It is heartbreaking to see the rejection of God that we now see without a care in the world for the things that people are doing. Especially heart wrenching is when you see the person that you love , and is close among family and friends that are so thoroughly infected with the disease of sin that is described in this passage of scripture. It is difficult when we must “FROM SUCH TURN AWAY” as we God instructs us but absolutely essential because to fail to do so is to flirt with disaster. “What fellowship hath light with darkness”. No matter who it is comes the warning from God “ FROM SUCH TURN AWAY”. Friend , following the direction of the Lord is not always easy , but there is blessing in store for the obedient. And I ask one serious question. Who is our God, and will we follow Him who sits not only on the throne of heaven , but must also reign on the throne of hearts, or will we incur the wrath that is to come for rejecting the truth? We must do our diligence , and be faithful to the ONE WHO IS FAITHFUL TO US. Pray dear friend that you be not deceived by the evil one. He desires to have you.
