It breaks our hearts to say this, but we will not be setting up at Kroger for the 4th of July. We are shutting down Psalms 9:11 Ministry and our radio station effective immediately due to lack of support. It was fun over the years as Psalms 9:11 got started in our little storage unit. We started taking donations of things that people didn't want or need anymore to give to people who needed them. Then COVID came along and we ended up losing the storage unit, but God had another plan for us. He made it possible for us to order cases of toilet paper on Amazon. Even when everybody else was struggling, He blessed us with more than just one or two cases of toilet paper - over 40 cases during COVID. We started with one or two cases at a time and went out to Kroger's parking lot and a couple of other parking lots and passed out toilet paper with some very generous donations, which allowed us to keep that going till the end of COVID. Towards the end of it, some people were trying to take advantage, so we decided to go out and give new meaning to TP-ing. Once COVID kind of calmed down and the toilet paper issues went back to normal, we started designing Christian shirts, bags, and all kinds of stuff that we then sold on our Christian store, along with homemade soy candles that we made. It took for a little bit, but our prices were kind of high because we were outsourcing all of our prints, so we decided to make it cheaper - not for us, but for you all - by buying the equipment we needed to make our own shirts ourselves. It still didn't really go anywhere. We've tried giving them away; that doesn't even work. Tried to do the shoebox thing; it seems like nobody could care less. My husband got back into writing music and came across a way to display his music through AI, since we don't have a studio. Gradually, we worked on creating an online radio station. We'd like to give a shout-out to our two faithful listeners who listened multiple times a day. But lack of donations can't keep us wasting money if you all don't care enough to keep it up and going. We weren't asking for much. We weren't even asking for you to know a pledge of a certain amount per month. Just a small little donation, just some people to show that they cared - well, that's why Psalms 9:11 Christian Ministry/Christian radio is shutting down immediately.
