Last Sunday, we had the privilege of celebrating Pentecost with the baptism of five of our youngest members. We are overjoyed to officially welcome them into the Bellamy family. ❤️

With graduations quickly approaching, we also recognized our 2026 high school graduates. We are so proud of them and cannot wait to see what their futures hold. No matter how far you go, Bellamy will always welcome you home!

This coming Sunday, we will confirm nine of our youth. To celebrate, we will have one worship service at 10:30, followed by lunch together. All are invited!

⛵️ On Sunday, June 14, we will say “bon voyage” to Pastor Ed as he sets sail on his next chapter in life. Join us in honoring him as he looks ahead to retirement, time with family and friends, and beautiful days on the water.

The celebration will take place at 12:30 PM at the Bellamy UMC Fellowship Hall and Pavilion. We will serve heavy hors d’oeuvres. More information to come!

📸 Say cheese! As we look forward to welcoming Pastor Joyce, we have the perfect opportunity to refresh our church directory so it can better reflect our Bellamy community. Many pictures in Breeze are missing or outdated.

Having current photos of our church members will help Pastor Joyce get to know everyone more easily and the opportunity to refresh our church directory so it can better reflect our Bellamy community.

If you'd like help taking an updated photo, please stop by the church library on May 17 between 9:15 and 10:15 or following the 10:30 service. These photos will be quick and painless! Thank you for helping us make our directory a welcoming and accurate representation of Bellamy.

This Sunday, the Faith Builders class will begin their study of Joshua with chapters 1-2. We will discuss the transferring of power from Moses to Joshua — very pertinent to our upcoming church leadership transition.

We hope you’ll join us in the Fellowship Hall at 9:15. All are welcome!

🩵 April is Child Abuse Prevention & Awareness Month, a time to come together as a community to protect and nurture the children among us. Every child deserves to grow up in a safe, loving, and supportive environment.

On Sunday, April 26, we invite everyone to Wear Blue as a visible sign of our commitment to the well-being of children and families. Blue represents hope, protection, and the shared responsibility we all have in preventing child abuse.

By wearing blue, we show that our church stands with children and families, raising awareness and encouraging care, support and vigilance within our community.

“Truly I tell you whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me” – Matthew 25:40

Thank you for helping us create a church and community where every child is safe, valued, and loved. 🩵
