On June 14, we closed a chapter with the celebration of Pastor Ed’s retirement. In addition to enjoying the delicious food prepared by the hospitality committee and the time for fellowship, we had the opportunity to show our gratitude to Pastor Ed for his years of faithful service. Bellamy made a $1000 donation in Ed’s honor to Jubilee Churches to thank him for his dedication to that work. These funds are used to meet the most pressing needs of our Gloucester community. Pastor Ed also received a very special gift from Ethan Gardiner.

Thank you to all who had a role in planning, decorating, preparing food, and serving. The hospitality committee did a wonderful job in making this a special day. We are also grateful to Ed’s family and friends who were able to join us.

Last week, we had a commencement of sorts for nine of our youth. They have been meeting several Sundays a month since last fall, learning about the Christian faith, the church, and how we are called to live as Jesus' disciples. We are so proud of them and overjoyed to welcome them into the journey of discipleship.❤️

We also had a chance to thank Lisa Walker for her years of dedicated service as our church administrative assistant. Enjoy retirement!

Last Sunday, we had the privilege of celebrating Pentecost with the baptism of five of our youngest members. We are overjoyed to officially welcome them into the Bellamy family. ❤️

With graduations quickly approaching, we also recognized our 2026 high school graduates. We are so proud of them and cannot wait to see what their futures hold. No matter how far you go, Bellamy will always welcome you home!

This coming Sunday, we will confirm nine of our youth. To celebrate, we will have one worship service at 10:30, followed by lunch together. All are invited!
