👀NEW USDA GUIDELINES ON Unopened foods! These are the dates we are now using and going by.

Please help us get the word out.

We are gratefully accepting your food and hydration donations this Tuesday, September 8 between 11 AM and 4 PM at 7040 George Washington Memorial Highway in Gloucester Virginia!

We are in need of heavy duty, full size serving trays with lids!

Unfortunately, the dollar tree style are not heavy enough to carry the weight of the volume of food we prepare and serve so we do need the heavy duty ones. We don’t want them to collapse and spill all over the food bus floor.

Lynette Brophy was a servant in this Ministry and she was the one who introduced our Breakfast Bags.

She and her husband Kevin (a former board member of Helping The Homeless) devoted a portion of their home to the breakfast bags and contributed them monthly, for a few years.

Her legacy will continue on through her creation of our Breakfast Bags, and she will be remembered.

Our love and prayers go out to Kevin, their son and family. We trust we will see her again in Heaven and trust the Holy Spirit to comfort all. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

Good evening, Gloucester!

Helping the Homeless Mobile Food Bus will be driving out Hunger this Saturday, September 5 in Gloucester!

We will be serving a free hot meal and distributing groceries, breakfast bags, Bomba socks, and other things that we have to give to anyone in need.

Remember, you do not need to be homeless to receive- our definition of Homelessness is more of a spiritual one and not always just meaning no home!

God‘s love is free and so are our meals!

All details are on the attached flyer, including location and times; and also, you don’t have to reside at this area to receive food from us.

If you’re hungry, we will feed you! God bless and good evening!

YOU are needed! As HIS hands and feet- you are needed!

If you follow this page, you probably have seen the tremendous blessings of Food and bottled waters we have received in the last week!

Yet we STILL have needs!

The following items are greatly needed and appreciated:

Aluminum pans*

(must be the heavy duty Food hand handling material! We don’t need a tray of spaghetti, collapsing when our team is pulling it out of the hot box! We typically order ours from Sam’s Club!)
3 part biodegradable Food trays
Meat for foodbus cooking (like hams, chicken, meet we can smoke)
Meats for those families we serve

Chicken
Meatballs (prefer Italian flavored and pre-cooked, please)
Gatorade
And variety of desserts
