Am Shalom is a Reform Jewish congregation in Glencoe, Illinois. We are located at 840 Vernon Avenue in Glencoe.

Friday evening Shabbat services are held weekly at 6:30pm and run approximately 75 minutes. They are preceded and followed by an Oneg Shabbat, a brief reception to meet and greet. Torah Study Minyan takes place every Saturday morning at 9:00am. A short prayer service is followed by study of the week’s Torah portion. No special level of Torah expertise is required to participate fully in this comfortably collegial session spent discussing the ins and outs of Torah.

When a Bernese Mountain Dog escaped from his family’s fenced-in yard on a windy evening, they had no idea how far he’d wandered. Maverick had made his way down busy Dundee Road, heading toward Am Shalom. Fortunately, Kevin, a member of Am Shalom’s security team, spotted him while driving home from work. What a lucky number! Come and grab one before they're gone. Each tag represents the holiday gift wishes of a child served by JCFS.

Am Shalom volunteers packed 7,500 pounds of oranges last night at the Northern Illinois Food Bank, which will be distributed to local pantries for our neighbors. Thanks to everyone who came out to help!
