‘The Erasure Of Anything Palestinian’: Israel’s Ethnic Cleansing Of Palestinian Bedouin And Herding Communities exposes how Israeli authorities have accelerated a state-sponsored program of ethnic cleansing in the occupied West Bank, uprooting, dispossessing, and forcibly transferring Palestinian communities.

Over 26 months, Amnesty crisis investigators conducted extensive research to bring these atrocities to light, collecting evidence through field research, interviews, and policy analysis.

Amnesty documents the ethnic cleansing campaign targeting these communities in a context of apartheid, unlawful occupation and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

Entire Palestinian communities across Area C of the occupied West Bank are being erased from lands they have lived on for generations by Israel's accelerating policy of ethnic cleansing and annexation.

Sign the petition and call on world leaders to halt Israel's ethnic cleansing of Palestinians in the occupied West Bank now and end its unlawful occupation: https://amn.st/6189B8Fk6c

In a compelling scene in the documentary. "Si Pudiera Quedarme" ("If I Could Stay"), a little girl watches her mother pack her belongings as they are about to move from their home into sanctuary in a church. The documentary traces the lives of two undocumented women over the course of nearly a decade as they are under constant threat of deportation. They live in sanctuary knowing that if they go beyond the space they inhabit, Immigration and Customs Enforcement can detain them. The documentary also pays close attention to the word "sanctuary," as its meaning changes over time and throughout the documentary film. In fact, even the U.S. legal definition of "sanctuary" remains unclear. Federal law still has no single stationary definition for a sanctuary jurisdiction, even though politicians keep turning the word into a political target

The documentary "Si Pudiera Quedarme" ("If I Could Stay") follows two undocumented women and their children for nearly a decade as they live in sanctuary under constant threat of deportation.
