“You didn’t do anything to get into this family, and there is nothing you can do to get out.” 😭
No matter how many times we fail or fall short, God’s love for us isn’t based on our performance. It’s based on His choice to adopt us as His own.

If you’ve been feeling like you’ve disappointed God or messed up too badly, let this be your reminder today: You are secure in His family.

There is a powerful fearlessness in the ministry of Jesus. When confronted with the looming threat of King Herod, Jesus doesn’t pivot or compromise. He operates on a completely different timeline. He essentially tells them, “I will leave when I am good and ready—when my work here is finished.”
He could walk with that kind of authority because He knew His mission inside and out. He knew Galilee wasn’t His final stop, and Herod wasn’t His executioner. Jerusalem and the cross were waiting.
But right alongside this fierce authority, Jesus gives us a profound invitation regarding the “narrow door” of God’s kingdom.
We often complicate what it means to be saved, but Scripture brings it back to a singular focus:
“If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.”Jesus is the narrow door. He isn’t one of many paths; He is the exclusive gateway to life and peace. The same Jesus who fearlessly marched toward Jerusalem is the only Door open for us to find true salvation.

Before we judge the religious leaders in the Gospels, we need to look in the mirror. It’s a trap we all fall into elevating our own traditions, customs, and disciplines to the level of God’s Word.

When Jesus healed the crippled woman on the Sabbath, He put legalism to shame and chose compassion over rigid rules.

Let’s ask ourselves the hard question today: Are our personal preferences or traditions getting in the way of God’s work and healing in others? 🕊️

“We usually spend our hardest seasons asking “Why?” or “How much longer?” But at our women’s event, Peri shared a perspective that stopped us in our tracks: What if your pain isn’t a sign of God’s absence, but a sign of His trust?

To share in His sufferings is to know His heart in a way the mountaintops don’t allow. It’s a heavy invitation, but it’s one that leads us straight to the power of the resurrection.

If you’re walking through a “participation in His sufferings” right now, know that He is trusting you, holding you, and refining you.

Reflect: How does it change your day to think of your struggle as a sacred trust?

In Luke 12:47-48, Jesus drops a difficult teaching. He says that the servant who knew his master’s will but didn’t obey will receive a “severe beating,” while the one who didn’t know will receive a “light beating.”

When we get to glory, is Jesus going to line us up and start handing out punishments?

Here is the true context of what Jesus is saying.
