Community is our Commitment!

We had a full day today. We kicked off our new series leading up to the launch of our fall life groups with a message from Pastor Jason Patterson, welcomed 6 new members, introduced our 2 interns, and had our largest Pizza with the Pastors event to date.

We’re blessed and encouraged by the many signs of the Lord working in our midst!

As we pivot to the Fall, here’s a glimpse into what’s been happening at CP over the last 3 months!

Tomorrow, we begin shifting to our fall calendar. We kick that off with the start of a new mini series: Community is our Commitment. This series will lead into the launch of our Fall Life Groups on Sept 13th.

We’re ready to worship with you tomorrow at 10:00 am!

Have you heard the news?! We’ve got ANOTHER Baptism Sunday coming up! Sept 20th - 10:00am

Here’s some info to know about baptisms:

- At CP, if you lead someone to Jesus, we want YOU 🫵 to assist with their baptism
- If you sign up to get baptized, you can invite whoever has been instrumental in your faith to be a part of this moment with you.
- Baptism isn’t something you “get ready” for. It’s simply the next step to take after saying Yes to Jesus. Don’t let the narrative of not being ready cause you to miss your moment.
- Sign ups are open now!

In our service yesterday we took time to pray over all of our students and teachers as they head back today. Continue to lift them up, covering them in the grace and favor of the Lord!

The next generation of the church isn’t coming.. they’re already here!

In our Next Gen service today we had a presentation from our kids, kids and youth serving in various areas of the church, a message from Pastor Roman on Titus 2, and YOU 🫵 helped our cp kids raise over $600 for missions from their bake sale!

We also took time in service to pray over each student and educator as they head back to school. We’re believing the Lord for great things this year!
