"Last year around this time I gave two Reformation lectures at three different Lutheran congregations in Taiwan. My two topics were "From Fear to Assurance: The Life of Martin Luther", and "Christ Alone and the Christian Life". Including online viewers, about 80 people heard the lectures live, but several dozen have watched the YouTube video that was made from the livestream (can view here: https://youtu.be/dzo7t3y4eVI). I’ve also given Reformation lectures five of the other years I’ve been here, and, Lord-willing, I’ll some day edit and publish them in book form. While I don’t consider myself a true “Luther scholar,” the type of content these lectures contain is simply very rare in the Chinese language, and any new material like this is a great help for the Chinese Church," writes Rev.
